All went really well. Not to sound trite, but the coffin was a hit... Everyone from the funeral director to the family, to all those who came in support were very moved by its beauty and how it helped them enter the mystery of death. Just so nice to see all the symbols and proclamation of faith. It really helped to introduce the children to death as well, speaking of the prayers, saying good bye to Grandpa, and touching his head and hands.
