Six days before Passover, Jesus was anointed with perfumed oil while the risen Lazarus reclined at the table and Judas, because he had been stealing their money, complained about the oil’s cost.

If they had known what Jesus knew, that in just one week he was going to take on the sin of the world for them and suffer horrendously for our salvation, would Lazarus’ ease or Judas’ greed have been affected? Probably. Right? Well, you and I know. So how will that change the way we think and act today? How will we spend whatever time and opportunity our merciful God has so generously given us?
